Hi, is there any way to set my administrator privileges to "ON" once and for all?
I'm the only one to use my PC and that constantly telling me I have no admin privileges is getting on my nerves.

Yes, "Tweak UAC":

1. Install it
2. Set it to "quiet mode"
3. Forget it forever

I use it since 15 years or more 😉

Is it for Vista only?

Never mind, just checked their website, it's gonna work with win 11.
Thanks for advice.

OK, I did install this TweakUAC thing but it does not seem to work.
I did set it to quiet and to full on but when I try to rename a drive it still tells me I need to elevate it.

Yes, that's right, same here: (only) when you change the name of a drive, the message still comes up. But if you click on "continue", it nevertheless makes the change despite the warning 😉!

Well, I'm not sure that I get this right.
I still get the window for admin privileges. I click continue and I get another popup where TweakUAC asks if it is allowed to make changes, I click on yes and I have my privileges to look at a file. Instead of suppressing the original message it adds a new message. That doesn't seem right.

What option didi you chose when installing Tweak UAC ?
Uninstall it and reinstall !
After reinstalling, when you use Tweak UAC for the first time, the following window will pop up:

Capture1.PNG
Check the box and click ok

A second window will pop up:

Capture2.PNG

Leave the the option at the radio button in the middle !

(It says, ... "but will suppress the elevation prompts for the administrators").

I have Administrator Privileges everywhere around the operating system itself, I used Yamicsoft Windows Manager and activated using as screeenshot below .. and restart the computer, deleted the in-built Administrator account too, so I am the 100% owner of this computerand no ghost / hidden admin logins allowed :)

Remember, Windows Manager is not free but you may use the trial version instead and it works fine, you may uninstall it safely after activating the privileges and UAC settings .. and becareful not to use other tweaks included without knowing whats the result .. happy tweaking ..

I installed it exactly as you have described it.
Now, I'll uninstall and reinstall again.
Hope it works this time.
