can't exit S mode in Windows 11

My Lenovo PC, only three days old, won't allow me to install Google Chrome. It keeps prompting me to exit S mode.

To exit S mode on Windows 11, go to Settings > System > Activation. There, you should see an option that says something like "Switch to Windows 11 Home". I checked for updates, and everything is current. Still no luck. Could this be a hardware issue, or is it definitely software-related? Really don't know what else to do.

You could try resetting the Microsoft Store cache. doing so can resolve issues like the one you're experiencing. Press Windows Key + R, type wsreset.exe, and press Enter. This will reset the store cache. After it's done, try accessing the Store again to switch out of S mode.
