i have a INSTEN USB Slim external drive, The paperwork says in order to use SuperDrive to play movies, The superDrive (DVD-RW) must have been initialized before, i.e; choose a region or country code. I have done this and it still won't work any help would be appreciated.

Expand "doesnt work" Is it totally dead when plugged in to a usb port or..? Can you see it in disk management?
