File Explorer opens but becomes unresponsive when I click anywhere

Despite trying every solution available online, it still doesn’t work. When I open File Explorer, it appears fine, but clicking any folder or icon, or trying to perform a search, causes it to freeze. I’ve spent days trying to fix this issue and am very frustrated. Can anyone help me resolve this?
