For years, Windows has had a "feature" in which if you are in a VOIP call on desktop (e.g. a Whatsapp call), it will automatically reduce the volume of any other app (Chrome, Spotify, etc.). For previous versions of Windows, it was fairly easy to turn off. However, I cannot figure out where to turn it off in Windows 11. Any ideas? Thanks!

I just received the solution in another forum in case anyone has the same issue.

Press Windows key+R to open Run then type: control mmsys.cpl sounds
Press Enter then select Communications tab
Select "Do nothing"
Click Apply then Ok

You can also access this from Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound. If you're like me, you may have gotten confused since it seems Windows is hiding the Control Panel in favor of "Settings," which also has Sound options - just not this one.
