Laptop overheating after updates with update Ids/Numbers: KB5015732 and KB5016629

My laptop (Lenovo Ideapad 3 Gaming) was doing fine until I installed this update after which the turbo boost started triggering even when the laptop was completely idle which led to rise in CPU temps upto 80C which is not normal at all. Works fine on switching off the updates
