Music on PC is distorted and scratchy

Hi Everyone, I hope you can help me. I have Windows 11, Acer Aspire 5 PC. I love my music. But something has happened. When I play my music from Deezer, or YouTube, or Jango etc it is distorted. You could say "scratchy". I have tried every possible thing, with audio settings etc. Even did a update Realtec audio thing, but all to no avail. Now here is something strange; when I play the music I have on my PC in the music library with Windows Media Player, it is also distorted. But, when I play the same music in my music library with the Groove Music there is no distortion. It has got me baffled. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.... Ken.
