do not know why I have checked stay log in but it is not working I have to log in to post anything

Depends upon what you want to log into, if it's a Web site could be that clearing the browser's cache is causing the issue, quite normal.

My intent was to say that clearing of the cache [browser's memory] is what can cause having to log in, removes the memory of the log-in information. If the cache is not cleared by a user or a program the log-in should remain. Most times the first log-in needing a user name and password will have a prompt to save it.

If you've ticked clear history, cache and cookies on shutting down. This will clear your sign in.

You can clear everything .. except Cookies, because your logon information is stored there, clearing Cookies will remove all sites logon credentials ..
