Network printer detection installs to wrong port

I have a new Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 16ARH7 with Windows 11 Pro 10.0.22621 Build 22621.
I have an HP Office Jet Pro 8500 A909a on my network.
Windows 11 did discover the right printer model but it installed it on a local port named WSD-6-6a8f89aa-588b-4b33-8284-3d1cfc8d112b.
Nothing would print. I added a new local IP port pointing to the printer's IP Address and it prints fine.
I just wanted to share this.
