So I updated a laptop from Win 10 to Win 11. Everything went fine including networking and internet access using ethernet and wifi.
The ethernet is connected to a switch.
Then I did not use the laptop for about a month. Windows 11 boots up fine, however, now it cannot access the internet via ethernet or WiFi.
I power cycled the switch, power cycled the laptop, all network settings look fine, both interfaces enabled, IP/DNS assignment set to Automatic.
Since both the Ethernet and wifi interfaces are not operational, it must be something else, but what?
Ideas for troubleshooting? (I have not tried to resetting the interfaces yet).
Thanks,
Ray
