Hi
I managed to get two partitions in windows 11, and today I tried to use an external disk (G:)
to fill the second partition (let's say D:) with 156 G of from external hdd
(the first partition is C:/, the bootable one, of 178 G).
I think I made a mistake (or maybe not?!), that I set protection (System Protection "on"
on both partitions with the presence of connected external disk G:/)
and all the info I copied from the external disk G:/ of 156 G
was placed on a partition F:/ of 344 G (where did this come from?)
and an additional partition E: of 292 G appeared almost empty "from nowhere as F":should I delete it?
In fact, on this 292 G partition (as I said initially) I needed to see the 156 G from external hd;
So,disk management(with G conected):
Disk0:476 G:
100 M Healthy EFI System partition
C:/178G boot
E:/292G
625M recovery partition
D:/5G (Initial Drivers)
Disk1:931.5G(from where???):
450M recovery partition
100 M Healthy EFI System partition
F:/344G
784M recovery partition
G:/585G external hdd

When I remove an external disk, disk manager:
Disk0:476 G:
100 M Healthy EFI System partition
C:/178G boot
E:/292G
625M recovery partition
D:/5G (Initial Drivers)
