Ruler missing in Snipping Tool

I'm using Snipping Tool version 11.2401.37.0. What happened to the ruler tool? I notice that it’s missing. Can i put it back? Thank you!

Same problem here! I was using the ruler for highlighting rows and sketch lines at specific angles by rolling my mouse wheel. This is a deal beaker for me!

We have the new Shapes tool but it does not work with highlighting. ShareX is an option, not as good as the highligher and ruler in Snipping Tool though.
Hopefully they will bring it back soon.
