None of the previous iterations of Windows has ever been fixed* before yet another version is introduced.
* think the numbering system, copying over files with too long names.
But never has there been such an uproar before the thing is even officially released. The arrogance of Microsoft is breath taking.
Seriously, should not governments be able to legislate in this area to restrain Microsoft and Apple from this behaviour, taking humanity for a ride too far?

Please keep the government out of this - the lack of sales generated by bad behavior should be enough. Just my 2 cents. I am enjoying the forum so far - I may be a newbie, but my first use of windows, after DOS, was 3.1, on a government IBM with a massive 10 MB hard drive.
