I am getting ready to set up my new win 11 machine, and have a question concerning install of some software. First, a little background information on how we arrived at point. My 12 year old dell 660 win10 cannot do win 11, purchased it as a win 7 and have moved it through the changes. I have this new dell waiting for setup, and I will be copying things from the 10 to the 11 also. The 10 machine has Office Home & Student 2010 that we have used for years and many of our saved documents were created with it. The 11 comes with the usual MS 365 30 day trial, but I still have the 2010 original disk and product key that we purchased. Should I install the 2010 on the new 11 or move up to something newer, and if so what should that be. We are long retired senior citizens, and use the desktop for email, on line research, ancestry searching, shopping, & retaining some documents, so this will give you some idea concerning use. There are only two users, my wife and myself. Would appreciate comments, suggestions.

Ignore the 365 thingy .. install 2010 and use back the old license .. move your important data to the new machine ..
