Unable to access Hotmail on Edge

Hi, After a recent update, I have been unable to access my Hotmail (now Outlook) account on Edge. I can get in if I use Chrome. I've tried clearing browsing hisory and extensions, and Edge is working OK on other sites. Uninstalling the update has'nt worked so I'll be grateful for any other suggestions. Thanks.

There’s been an outage with Outlook & Microsoft accounts in general so hopefully the problem has been fixed by now.

there are some EDGE to Microsoft LIVE to (e-mail address removed) access issue, but it works fine in my smartphone ..and I just leave it as it is
