Uninstalled Ubuntu other linux apps remain

I uninstalled with multi-step process including WSL subsystem and preview, but linux apps such as synaptic and others still show in start menu under Ubuntu folder (ubuntu does NOT show up), but will not load (obviously). How to remove from start menu?
