Up and back arrows missing in file explorer

Why have the up and back arrows disappeared in file explorer? They were there the other day but now they're gone. I can't find anything in the options/settings to bring them back.

Haven't seen that issue with File Explorer on Version 23H2 Build 22631.3593 on 3 Notebooks and 2 Desktops.

A question showing up on forums is about Microsoft messing with third-party add-ins/customizations so they don't work.
