Win 11 button does not work

Guys, it seems that the win 11 button on my keyboard does not work. Any combination with letters works fine, although I haven't tried them all.
Just that darn win button by itself does nothing. I have tried all the remedies that I could find on the internet but nothing works. Any ideas?

Hi Ed,
I believe to have understood from our previous conversation that you have "Open Shell" installed.
Please have a look into your Open Shell "Settings" (see screenshot) and go to the "Control" tab (yellow on the screenshot).
Then please verify whether "Windows key opens:" is perhaps set to "nothing" (encircled in red). If so, just tick "Windows Start Menu" (yellow on the screenshot).Capture.PNG
(If you wish you can also try the other key combinations on that Open Shell page; I already mentionned them in our previous conversation).
