Windows organization requires a new pin

I am not signed into any work or school accounts (I've already checked), but every few months I get a popup saying my organization requires me to change my PIN. When I follow the instructions to turn off PIN expiration, it is already off. Also, when I try to set a four-digit PIN, it says my organization requires a longer PIN. I contacted Microsoft support, and they were unable to explain why this is happening since there are no work or school accounts and my PIN isn't set to expire.
How can I fix this?

Perhaps that security is required to access the company network after being logged into the computer?

The easy way to overcome this issue is just key in longer than 6 digits ..
