I problems and i hope you guys can help me.
I have windows 11 with a MSI GeForce GTX 960 GAMING. In the spec on the HDMI it says "1 (version 1.4a/2.0)Max Resolution: 4096x2160 @24 Hz (1.4a), 3840x2160 @60 Hz (2.0)"
My TV is Sony Bravia KD-75XG8096, and it should support 4K 60hz, as i understand.
But the problem is that i cannot choose 3840 x 2160 in 60 Hz and have RGB set in "output color format". If i do, the TV is getting black,
no signal. The only settings in output color format i can use is YCbCr420, then i get a picture in 4K.
But in that case, i cannot use choose HDR in the display settings. I can push the button but it just goes back to off again.
But, i can use 4096x2160 24 Hz and use RGB, and i can use HDR.
What could be the problem? Is 3840 x 2160 in 60 Hz (if i could use RGB) better picture than 4096x2160 24 Hz?
Big thanks in advance. I hope there is some smart people out there.
Best Raegards.
