Accent color in Windows 11 custom mode

Hi,

I am on Windows 11 custome mode. I don't like the dark mode (neither the completly light mode).
(I believe that) Since a recent "big" update (Windows 2200 to 22621), the possibility to show an accent color for windows title bar and borders in Windows Explorer is gone (installed programs still show it). Despite ticking the relevant setting, the title bar in Windows Explorer stays grey. I can imagine, that this nice for the dark theme, but with the light or the custom theme, this is a nightmare (when you'd like to move a window for instance): everything is grey.

Is it possible to get back that accent color in Windows Explorer ?

Ok, found it. It was Explorer Patcher. Needed to install an older version of Explorer Patcher and disable "Mica effects" (no clue what this is) and then reinstall the latest version of Explorer Patcher; see here (last comment): https://www.askvg.com/tip-enable-colored-titlebar-in-windows-11-file-explorer/

I customized a WIN11 theme and selected solid background and manual color. Most times this will work to display the accent color in the File Explorer title bar, but not always. Sometimes it takes a few hours or days and the color magically appears. Once I see the accent color I do not shutdown because if I do the title bar is back to grey and I struggle to get it the accent color again. At5 random times I selected a pre-installed theme and the file explorer title bar was the accent color but it doesn't always apply. it is a very odd issue.

I had to shutdown yesterday and now lost the accent color. My saved theme does not retain after shutdown. I am using the same settings as usual but today I am unable to get the accent color with either a custom theme or pre-installed theme.
