I own an Acer Predator Helios 16-71, which is about 3 months old. Recently, I encountered several blue screens followed by a black screen indicating no bootable device when trying to run Windows.
I contacted Acer support, and they suggested running sfc/scannow, but the process halted at 50%, indicating malware. They advised a factory reset, but during the reset, an error occurred preventing completion. I then connected the NVMe drive to another laptop and formatted it using File Explorer.
Upon reconnecting the NVMe drive to the original laptop, it didn't appear. After following some YouTube tutorials suggesting the installation of Intel IRST, the drive reappeared. However, despite deleting all partitions and reinstalling Windows, the no bootable device issue remained

One thing you might want to check is the BIOS settings. Sometimes, after formatting or resetting, the boot order can get messed up. Make sure your NVMe drive is set as the primary boot device. Also, double-check if the drive is recognized correctly in the BIOS.

Another thing to try is to check for any potential driver issues. Since you mentioned Intel IRST, make sure you have the latest drivers for your chipset and storage controllers. You might also want to try disabling Secure Boot and Fast Boot in the BIOS. These settings can sometimes interfere with the boot process, especially after a fresh install of Windows. Let us know if changing these settings makes a difference.

Thank you but I'm still getting the no bootable device error. Could there be something else I'm missing?
You have answered that question already in your first post. YOU FORMATTED THAT DRIVE IN ANOTHER COMPUTER. It means there is no system on it anymore which make the drive non bootable. In order to make that drive bootable again, you have to re install your system from an installation medium (CD/DVD or Flash drive).
