I only noticed this issue or change this morning, but you used to able to CTRL+ eft click on the folder windows explorer folder in the taskbar and it would open a new instance. That no longer works for me. Maybe they removed it with the latest update. Can anyone verify this is the case and no longer works?

I can confirm that Ctrl + Left Click does not open a second instances of the File Explorer window.
Although I never actually new that this was a feature.

I always just right click the icon again on the taskbar and click File Explorer again.

However I believe, if you want to continue using a keyboard / mouse combo....
Ctrl + Shift + Left Click will do it.

Fantastic! I prefer to click as few times as possible and usually always have my left hand on my keyboard, so it's a quicker open. Thanks for sharing this!
