I am using Intel Driver & Support assistant for installing and updating my drivers, but often Windows decides to return to the older version probably specified by OEM, especially for the intel display driver.
I decided to use PolicyPlus to edit the group polices since I don't have a pro edition of Windows.
I configured:
Windows Components > Windows Update > Do not include drivers with Windows Updates set to Enabled
I also tried with
System > Device installation > Specify search order for device driver source location set to Do not search in windows update, but every time it did not save the setting, so I added the key directly in the registry at the location Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Windows\DriverSearching adding a DWORD value named SearchOrderConfig set to 0.
None of this worked. For now I have paused the updates.
Windows version: Windows 11 Home 23H2 (22631.4037)
PolicyPlus version: June2021

Which version would install Windows: 31.0.101.4255
