After getting constant messages that my version of Windows 11 insider was soon expiring (September 2022?). I decided to do a clean install of the current version of Windows 11 that I downloaded from the MS site. It seemed to install ok but took a long time to get through the "getting things ready" phase. When it finally completed the install things were a bit off. No MS Store app, no Notepad app, graphics off and couldn't be reset, etc. I tried to download the missing apps but they wouldn't load. Finally I decided to to a repair install with the original install USB keeping my files and apps. That seems to have fixed things. It just reminded me that it always takes longer than you planned.
