You know that handy swipe-right move we've been using to check our notifications on touchscreen devices? Microsoft's latest update brings a change that could shake up your workflow.
So, instead of seeing our notifications pop up, we're now greeted by Copilot, Microsoft's chatty AI assistant. Apparently, Microsoft quietly slipped this tweak into an Insider Preview Build back in December 2023.
As you might expect, not everyone's thrilled about this. Some seem to appreciate Microsoft's innovation, while others fear they could lose easy access to their notifications. However, do keep in mind that Microsoft hasn't completely removed access to the Notification Center; you can still get to it through the taskbar icon.
If you're feeling frustrated by this change, you're not alone. Maybe it's time to explore other notification management options or turn them off altogether. Let's hope Microsoft will listen to user feedback and give some more control over how we interact with our devices.
