Clear gmail addresses

I setup my gmail account by clicking the Mail icon. I inadvertently typed in an incorrect email address and I need to deleted that amil address. I've looked everywhere and can't resolve the issue. Please help me find where I can delete or modify the address.

I inadvertently typed in an incorrect email address and I need to deleted that amil address.

When you open the Mail App
Select the word Accounts in the left pane
Then select the problem account in the Manage Accounts area on the right
Is "Delete account from this device" Not available to you??
