External hard drive in 24h2

i have a few usb external hard drives, in 23h2 all are working fine without any problems
in 24h2 some do not show up ,some do and work fine
i have narrowed it down to those formatted in ntfs work those formatted in gpt don't
gpt disks do show up in disk management with some crazy file size and no option to do anything
any ideas how to get these disks working in 24h2 ??

good news i found the problem

it was to do with the usb enclosure i was using not liking 24h2 (no idea why but it is old)
using a new enclosure and all is working fine both 23h2 and 24h2 :)
