I did a factory reset on my PC, and now I've lost Windows 11. now I’m back to Windows 8 and can’t update to Windows 11.
What steps can I take to recover Windows 11? Thank you!

To recover Windows 11 after a factory reset that reverted your PC to Windows 8, you can follow these steps. First, check the recovery options by navigating to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery to see if you can restore your system to a previous state. If that doesn't work, create a Windows 11 installation USB using the Media Creation Tool. Boot from the USB and follow the prompts to reinstall Windows 11. Once you're back on Windows 8, check for updates in Windows Update to see if any upgrades to Windows 11 are available. If important files are at risk, consider using the BLR Data Recovery Tool to recover any lost data during the process. If you need assistance, feel free to reach out!

Hope this will help you :)

I had to do the same for a client that did the factory reset [literally means going back to when it was bought] and since the OEM was working just did the upgrade while in File Explorer by running the se from within the drive made by the MCT. Since it had Win10 activated early it re-activated without issue.
