latest CU (22000.282) shows still windows 10 in the description: windows10.0-kb5006746-x64_7de0eb046446a91264144613b6bba263541ad009.msu

should it not be windows11.0-kb5006746-x64_7de0eb046446a91264144613b6bba263541ad009.msu ??

or is Windows 11 actually a Windows 10, just renamed to fool the Users??

The file is marked in the catalog as
2021-10 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5006746)

Yes, basically. If you look at the Product name, it will still be "Windows 10 <whatever version you are using, such as home, pro, enterprise, etc.>"
