The latest release in the Insiders program demonstrates Microsoft's continued innovation with its Windows 11 operating system. Build 22635.3500 includes various improvements, one of which significantly changes the sharing experience.

This build's main feature is the option to email oneself directly from the Share window. How many times have we had to go through the annoying procedure of sending ourselves an email just to share something? It's a frequent workaround, although it's not particularly elegant. Recognizing this, Microsoft built a native solution to help simplify the process.

With the latest version, users may now send emails to themselves without having to manually enter their email address, copy links, or data. This feature is included directly into the Windows share pane, making sharing more efficient and user-friendly. However, this feature presently only supports Gmail.

While this may limit its accessibility for some users, it is a positive move toward improving the overall sharing experience in Windows 11. In addition to the email capability, Build 22635.3500 includes another update to the Start menu: the Sign out option is now hidden.

If you are a member of the Beta Channel, we encourage you to explore these new features and provide feedback to help shape the future of Windows 11.
