0xC00CE556 Since Failed 22581 Update Install

Hello everyone. My Windows 11 Pro installations have been pristine, with no issues, until I tried installing software build 22581. After installing, and even after installing 2-3 more current builds, I continue to receive the following error whenever starting a new Windows session:

Error parsing
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\config\machine.config
Parser returned error 0xC00CE556.

I am currently on:

Windows 11 Pro
Version 21H2
OS Build 22000.593
Exp Pack 1000.22000.593.0

I hate operating with errors. I would appreciate it if someone could please tell me what is going on, and hopefully, how to fix it without a full re-install.
