I'm having trouble with my Windows 11 taskbar, where there's an empty space between the app icons and the tray icons, leaving a noticeable gap.
Has anyone else faced this issue with the Windows 11 taskbar? Any tips on how to fix it would be much appreciated!

I'm experiencing the same.
Between 3 dots and system tray there is an empty space left.
Instead 1 or 2 more app icons could be accomodated which will then NOT need those 3 dots themselves. In fact for me there is only 1 more app which if shown does NOT need any 3 dots. And the space "left" empty is MUCH more than what is being taken by 1 app.
There appears to be a hard "seperator vertical bar" which is not movable similar to "lock taskbar" option of earlier windows. Win 11 does NOT anymore allow "unlock" task bar to "delete" or "move" that "hard" bar or "delete" "spacer" elements that were available in say "FireFox" top menu.Flexible_Space_in_FireFox_Menu.png

Screenshot please ..

I assume the gap is limited between app icons and the tray icons because the maximum fit icons there would be 10 maximum and the rest will be compacted into the 3 dots .. the 2 icon gap is normal (see my screenshot below);
