What OS? I have not installed a keyboard driver since Windows 95 (or even before that).
It's just one of those things that the Microsoft Installer will take care of, when Windows is being installed.
Other things that DO NOT require a special driver are HD, DVD, standard mouse and even a monitor.
Windows handles it.
Why not go back, and fill out the blanks in your personal profile, including the details about your system, and even your location.
That makes answering any questions you may have, a lot easier.
