Hi all,
Since 10 days I've a brand new laptop, PCSpecialist Recoil 15.6 (TongFang GM5TN8W) with Intel® Core™ i7 11800H octa-core, 64GB RAM DDR4 SODIMM Corsair 2666 MHz, GeForce RTX 3080 16 GB, SSD SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS M.2 500 GB + SSD M.2 NVMe PCIe 2 TB INTEL® 670p - Monitor LG 27GP850 UltraGear.

I have Windows 11 Home 64 bit OS installed. All drivers updated. Windows update shows no further updates. No virus or malware revealed since the last scan. All seems perfect.
But...I have some serious issues with explorer and folders!
In the first day I noticed that often, when I right-click on some files or folders on desktop, or in the sidebar "quick access" explorer froze, closing all opened folders. It was very boring, but I still can work.

Now, the weird thing. When I create a new folder, or copy a file, or paste it in a directory, the folder do not show the new folder\file created\copied! I need to press F5 (refresh) in order to see it! This issue sometimes happens after some time, but mostly just as I log in on Windows. P.S. Meanwhile, the right-click on on "quick access" now ALWAYS froze explorer...

I did EVERYTHING and all fixes I read on internet regarding Windows folder issues...but there's no way, the problem is still here and it seems there's nothing to do to solve it! I really need your help, many thanks!!!

This has been a problem that goes back a long way into Windows 10 and before. I see it both on 10 and 11. If you don't press F5 and just wait, then it usually refreshes the screen after 10 seconds or so. Try Google with "windows explorer does not refresh" - there are loads of entries.

One thing you can try is to create a new account, as I understand the problem is account-specific. Last week I clean-installed W11 and no longer have the problem which went way back into W10 days.
