I have had serious errors coming up about one of my old hard drives so Ive been backing up all the contents onto another drive getting ready to replace the bad HDD then transfer back to that one etc

However i have 2 drives that are the same make and model and serials(screenshot attached, its Disc No.1 ) so im not sure how to physically identify it to know im taking the correct one out.

Im guessing/hoping there's an easier way of selecting the faulty drive other then guess work!

When setting up a new drive or formatting one there is a choice in Disk Management and other such programs to give a drive a desired name, usually same page as when assigning a drive letter. It can also be done later on the File Explorer's right-click of a drive and Properties.

Thats model and not serial .. just get Piriform Speccy and from there you can see different serial numbers .. :)
