I just received a new PC with Windows 11 Home OS. I have had it for a week and signing in has been a total cluster F___! W11 does not remember my pin and it disables my wi-fi. To remedy the problem, I have to disconnect my computer and haul to my router to connect it via ethernet cable. From there, I create a new pin and then haul it back to my office. What this means it that A) I can never turn off my computer or put it in Sleep mode, or B) I have to repeat moving and connecting it to my router.
I wanted Windows 10 but Dell would not let me order the computer and support it with W 10. I had a feeling that Windows 11 is not a viable OS yet and I was right. Am I suprised that Microsoft would release a defective OS? No, because MS is all about Co Pilot which is a also a joke. Is there a way to log in to my computer without a PIN or connection to Microsoft? If not, should I return my Dell and buy a Mac because Mac systems actually work where Windows systems don't. Or should I install Windows 10 and call it a day.
