Zip File crash

When I click to select a zip file it crashes. This happened on three computers so, I reverted back to Windows 10 on two of them.
I use my file manager for zip files.

What exactly is your "file manager"?

I use 7zip which has its' own "file manager" but generally I just use it from the right click menu>

I use powerdesk or 7 zip. Upon selecting the zip file it crashes immediately.

I'm not completely certain I understand fully.

IF you browse to a zipped file using Windows file explorer...
Right click that file and from the right click menu choose 7zip and then choose extract here (or another option from the 7zip menu), that...
File Explorer crashes??

It sounds like you're saying that as soon as you navigate (using file explorer) to a location containing a zipped file, that the second you highlight it with the left mouse button, that File Explorer crashes.

Is that what is happening?
