Noticed recently and not seen before,
Opening File explorer, "Home" is asking to sign in.
When I do try to sign in, it has the wrong User address. Apparently its to use Windows 'Hello' with my account.
I cannot change the email address to mine, whom I am the admin and signed in to Windows to use Windows on my laptop.

Would this be because my Daughter has or uses "Teams" on my laptop ?

If your daughter has signed in to an MS account under your username, it could be some confusion with the two accounts. It may be better if you can create a second username on the computer and give your daughter another account of her own (that way you can separate the mixing of two MS accounts).

Thanks,
I am the only user to sign-in to start MS Windows at start-up
I have looked in ‘netplwiz’ and her ms windows sign-in is not to be seen.
I have since logged her out of ‘Teams’ and nothing has changed.
She has sometimes used her Hotmail/Outlook acc to check her emails through Chrome to get to either.
She does this when her Moby is flat etc.

Adding. How do I find where to change the settings etc for my Home sign-in.
I’m running Windows 11 Pro

You can add a new account by going to:

Start > Settings > Accounts > Other Users > Add Account

That way, you can keep your account information separate.

I think you'll need to remove your daughters Hotmail account from your Windows account/username.

If you go to Start > Settings > Accounts, is it listed there under "E-mail & Accounts"? If so, I'd remove it and let her add it under her own Windows Username.

Thanks again.

Removed her Hotmail account as above instructions.
Now I have a Microsoft Workplace or school account I can't remove.
Can only click on 'Manage' which asks 'to sign-in + password'.
I have removed/uninstalled 'Teams' and all its associated links in registry and apps etc. Emptied Recycle Bin.
Restarted Windows, no change. Been to Microsoft Identities in registry, only my Hotmail acc for Windows is listed.
Is there a command prompt I could use get rid of it ?
