This scenario has now happened to me twice. It would seem it should be easy to undo. Further, in both occasions, it has happened accidentally. I opened the "This PC" location. Then somehow, I opened it again "in Place" which results in Attachment 1.

The question is simply how to go back to the original view. I have tried dragging windows, looked at Views, and have found no way to just have the original "This PC" view. This views persists between reboots. I simply want to undo but have only succeeded by restoring a backup! Surely there is a better way. It certainly isn't obvious.

Help would be appreciated.

Well, I found the solution, though it seems less than intuitive. The first person who asks will get the answer. I will post it if desired
