My micro sd card is not being detected in disk part or format disks program, it detects the driver for that reader, but not the sd card itself.

If it isn’t being detected in diskpart then it is a good indication the card has failed.
Does it show under disk management?
Do other SD cards show when inserted?

I'm thinking that if I flash windows 10 then upgrade to windows 11 maybe it will keep some files and drivers and their configuration

No other sd card shows up, not even the one in my phone, I suspect it to either be a driver issue or a windows issue, but it's most likely a driver issue, problem I've got the latest driver for it

Does the internal SD card reader show within device management? If not then check further under view>show hidden devices. If it does not appear under any of these then the internal card reader has failed.
Reinstalling or upgrading Windows will not fix it if this is the case.

I Would say the internal card reader is faulty & failing. Either replace it or continue using the external card reader.
If you can get device manager to show the reader then you could reinstall an older driver.
You might have to reinstall the driver via the entry under show hidden devices.
Right click device.
Choose update driver.
Choose ‘browse my computer for drivers’.
Choose ‘let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer’.
Choose the compatible hardware from the list, then choose next.
Choose one of the older drivers from the list shown, then click next.
This will then reinstall the driver.

It could also be because its lenovo, so I'm trying to install the os through their usb recovery software, their could be a chance that I'm missing some drivers that lenovo ships with their laptops

Thanks for the update. Hopefully the Win 11 upgrade goes smoothly.
Yes that is possible. However you should’ve been able to install the correct drivers from the PC manufacturer’s website.
Keep us updated.

Great news. I would recommend that you now use disk imaging software like Macrium Reflect in case of future problems.
