No sound after muting a Zoom meeting

Initially, I muted Zoom from the volume mixer, but then all sound suddenly disappeared. Despite trying various troubleshooting steps such as updating drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling the Realtek sound driver, and resetting the computer, the problem persists. Bluetooth headphones work fine, and testing the speaker shows that it's functioning but no sound comes out. I'm unsure what's causing this issue I suspect it may be related to either physical speaker damage or the need for a different default driver such as high definition. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
