PC screen shuts down when closing a game

Hello,
I use a HP Omen 16 laptop, and i updated the AMD drivers through the official website. For a week or so things worked just fine but now whenever i close a game my screen shuts down and i can still hear audio. The shutting down time varies according to the game. What can i do about it?

Did you check the Power Management settings under control panel, anything that makes the computer screen goes off?

I just had a weird thought, could the shutdown be in the program to prevent onlookers from copying what is showing on the screen such as proprietary information?
