The excess spam didn’t help. It’s difficult to get members to return if a forum can’t control spam especially if reporting it does nothing.
Eventually those members may check back with us & notice the lack of spam.

Agreed to both of you. I check in regularly and find it refreshing not to read the Spam anymore.
