Lenovo laptop keyboard just stops working. I have tried everything i can think of but no go. The only thing that works is the onscreen keyboard. any suggestions ?
I've had both Ideapad and Thinkpad models and they used differently designed keyboards, have only the Ideapad left. Just saw a post on a Win10 forum about Lenovo Ideapad keyboard not being configured in the Registry.
So, it's the keyboard built in at the Lenovo factory. Eh?
If you can get into the device manager, try uninstalling the keyboard and then reboot. The PC/Windows should reinstall the drivers for the device. It might even work!
Otherwise, I'd suggest an external USB keyboard.
Since the USB keyboards don't work does the computer have Bluetooth, usually part of a Wireless network adapter? There are such keyboards available, I have a small one given me that came with a LenovoTAB A10 tablet at some time.
