I've recently ordered a new laptop and computer. Both will fully installed drivers, BIOS updates and no corrupt files. Both systems show the exact same issues.
- Certain apps just crash or won't open at all (e.g. CPU-z / Battle.NET)
- Windows update only works when I restart my PC
- Windows search functions only works once, and then loads forever
- Windows trouble shooters don't work, they will load forever
I have tried:
- Reinstalling the Battle.NET setup
- Removing every file related to Battle.NET
- Resetting CPU to original clock speed
- Virus scan
- Turning off Virus protection
- Secondary Logon
- Restarting my PC/Windows explorer
- Ethernet cable directly to modem
- Starting it as Administrator
- Updating BIOS
- Installing all necessary drivers
- Different account
- Tweaking search in /Services
