How can I get my brand new computer out of S mode? I've done all the Windows updates, reset the store, and tried everything else, but I keep getting the message: "Try again. Something happened and we couldn't start the upgrade." Thank you!

You might need to check if there's a specific update or fix for S mode issues. Sometimes, a clean restart of your computer can help. Try restarting and then going to Settings > Update & Security > Activation and click on "Go to the Store" to try switching out of S mode again.

If that doesn’t work, try creating a new user account with administrative privileges and see if you can switch out of S mode from that account. Occasionally, issues with S mode can be account-specific.
