Create a password for windows

have a pin but I want to remove it. It won't let me unless I pick another method. Available options Facial, Fingerprint, Pin and Secutrey key. No password option. When I did a fresh install it asked me for a PIN. It would have asked me for a password before. Remove PIN is disabled.

I picked up a cheap Notebook 2 weeks ago and saw the same thing in setting up Win11 Home, no password,direct to PIN. As for the Notebook itself, it is fairly speedy for being lesser hardware, 4GB RAM and 128GB NVMe running a 1GHz CPU. The included Microsoft 365 for 1 year was worth about half the cost. Seasonal sales can be good.
