Sign in pin issues.

I had at one time to use a pin to log in versus a password now I cannot. I tried going to windows hello setting it says all I can do is reset pin that I have rebooted the box on sign screen to enable pin, but it doesn't work. clicking on the password box does. AI suggested do a run command netplwiz that I unchecked password not needed. Now I do not need a password to log in.

Any ideals what to do to get pin to be used in place of password?

tried that only option is Change your pin or remove sign in options. Nothing about create a new pin
