Why isn't Computer Management/Disk Management listed in Control Panel?

Control Panel has all the settings listed that are needed the most and some not so needed except Computer Management/Disk Management. I had to do a search for it. What gives?

These are in Windows Tools. MS intention is to eventually phase out Control Panel so everything is in Settings. Some control panel items now go straight to settings when you click on them.

Ah, it's hidden in Windows Tools. Sheesh.

Windows Tool won't allow me to change the option to Run as Administrator. It's grayed out. I'm the only person who uses my computer, I live alone. How do I fix this?

By the way, I really like W11. It's more user friendly than W10.

Read his post! He cannot .It is not available. He needs to change his account to an admin account
denjmay22:
Try this:
Select Control Panel again, and go to the User Accounts section.
Click on the account you want to change and
Change the account type. Choose the user account you’d like to change to administrator.

I run with an admin account and get the same result - run as administrator is still greyed out.

If you right-click the icon and select "run as administrator" then you will be prompted to say "yes" (if you are an administrator) or for the admin password (if you are a standard user).
